Integrated Engineering Solutions for Water Supply
Razvitiye-Lipetsk performs drilling, completion, and inspection of water wells for industrial and residential purposes, and also develops the necessary documentation package, from hydrogeological analysis and design to licensing and technical support for well operation.
Wells are drilled to a depth of up to 150 meters with a final diameter of up to 325 mm. This ensures a stable water supply for industrial enterprises, cottage communities, and private households.
Well Drilling
Drilling is carried out taking into account the geological profile, the depth of aquifers, the required output, and future operating conditions. We drill:
- filter wells (sand wells);
- artesian wells.
Percussion and rotary drilling methods are used. Specialized URB 587 and URB 2D3 drilling rigs are employed, enabling effective work in challenging geological conditions and at significant depths.
The work includes:
- analysis of archival data and assessment of prospective output;
-
design of the water intake and water supply networks;
-
drilling wells and completing them;
-
obtaining a subsoil use license;
-
calculating groundwater reserves;
- developing a subsoil geological study project;
- designing sanitary protection zones (SPZ);
- equipment installation and commissioning work.
We support the project at every stage and ensure the preparation of permitting and reporting documentation in accordance with subsoil use and environmental safety legislation.
Wellbore Drilling and Water Intake Unit Assembly:
In addition to the design phase, an important stage is the actual drilling of the wellbore and its technical completion.
The drilling process includes:
- boring the wellbore using the selected drilling method (rotary or percussion);
- casing the wellbore with casing strings;
- installing the filter column in the aquifer;
- cementing the annular space (if required);
- flushing and developing the well until a stable water inflow is achieved;
After drilling is completed, the water intake unit is assembled, which includes:
- installation of the wellhead;
- installation of a caisson or water intake chamber;
- installation of pumping equipment;
- installation of pipelines and shut-off valves;
- connection of the automation and protection system;
- ensuring tightness and protection against external impacts.
As a result, the client receives not just a drilled well, but a fully operational water intake unit ready for use.
Inspection of Water Intake Wells
Regular diagnostics involve monitoring the technical condition and actual output of the well. Inspection allows for:
- determining the condition of the casing string and filter section;
- identifying corrosion, siltation, and damage;
- determining the causes of reduced output;
- confirming actual output;
- assessing water quality.
Inspection Stages
Preliminary analysis. Reviewing the operating history, checking the pumping equipment, and measuring static and dynamic water levels.
Instrumental diagnostics. Video logging for visual inspection of casing and filters, gamma-ray logging, resistivity logging, caliper logging, and hydrodynamic testing to determine actual output and identify inflow zones.
Water analysis and reporting. Sampling for chemical and bacteriological analysis, preparation of a technical report with recommendations for restoration, repair, or modernization, and updating of the well's technical passport.
Scheduled inspections are recommended at least once a year for year-round operation. Under intensive loads, more frequent equipment monitoring is advisable. Unscheduled diagnostics are necessary in the event of reduced pressure, the appearance of sand, changes in water quality, or unstable pump operation. Timely inspection significantly reduces the risk of accidents and costly major repairs.
Result for the Client
- an engineering-justified water supply solution;
- confirmed output parameters;
- correctly executed permitting documentation;
- a technical report and well passport;
- recommendations for further operation;
- reduced risk of downtime and accidents.
Razvitiye-Lipetsk is especially effective when working with industrial facilities, in the construction, reconstruction, and modernization of water intakes, increasing production capacity, and auditing long-operating wells.
